This is the perfect way to describe the double appearance yesterday!! I didn't realize how I had come to prepare myself to be disappointed that Kate wouldn't always be present at the traditional events we had gotten used to seeing her--until yesterday. I felt such joy that she was up to being at all of these events even though they were close together. I have to give a shout out to her hair styling at both events. SO beautiful, especially the chignon!! And her outfits!! And her smiles!! Truly, a balm to the heart!
Her happiness is contagious! I love her happy disposition. Was she a little tanned?
The clothing felt like we are back to very classic Catherine: perfect for the events and very flattering to her figure. I loved the bow, but maybe a tad bit smaller would have been better so it didn't poke out when looking at her from the front. Yes, I'm talking minutia, but this is a blog were we discuss it all.
I have never seen an Alessandra Rich dress that I like and this one is no exception. I found her choice of accessories odd - that dress and hat called for black shoes and purse. I did love everything about the look for the evening appearance.
I love the Alessandra Rich outfit! Looks a little retro, which feels particularly appropriate for the occasion.
I agree with Debra that I would’ve liked to see black shoes (I also wonder about a pop of color in the shoes, but probably not the tone Kate’s going for). But overall, the outfit looks great!
I wonder if all black accessories would be too much a mourning combination four the event. The Duchess of Gloucester's amazing purse at the Abbey was terrific.
Somehow, even though I am not wild about either dress, Kate makes them look great. It's her attitude, her smile, and most likely her model-like figure. So wonderful to have her back!
I think the brown accessories with the Alessandra Rich dress were a mistake. If she didn't want to go black, navy would have been more appropriate (especially if paired with a navy hat - we know she has them!).
The second look is fantastic. If I had to pick a nit, I might have done black shoes here as well, but the matchy-matchy with the oversized bow (which I adore - and it's very on-trend!) and purse might have pushed the whole thing over into twee. Those EARRINGS, though!
Great to have seen her out and looking well!! I didn’t love the shoes and purse with dress1 either. With outfit 2 I loved the bow idea but concur it was too big :)
Seeing Kate look so well is like a balm to the heart!

Two of my favorite dresses reworn in the same day?? And that hair bow?? SWOON.
The polka dot is in my top five! I love it!!!!
That Self-Portrait dress is my absolute favorite on her! Everything about the look is flawless. ❤️

I thought the choice of camel was odd with that dress. I would have preferred even nude to the camel, but red could have been great too

I did not like the brown bag and shoes with the white and black polka dot dress.
But otherwise sche loked great. Loved the bow in her hair for the evening look.
