Re the windy dress, she'd have been better off sticking with the red jacket ensemble she wore in Belize, in Jamaica. Not least because some will sniff she shouldn't have so many outfit changes. Golly people are critical! Not here necessarily but around the Internet. They're coming down hard on W & K about being in Jamaica. Well, if they didn't want them there, there was plenty of time to stop them. The UK would hardly have forced W & K on Jamaica? I would find it helpful, Jane, if you could explain a little bit about how the Royals end up on official tours? I don't think they always choose where they are going, I think they are more or less told (with maybe the ability to say 'no thanks' but am uncertain about that) and then they have to do a lot of homework and such before they even set off. I put myself in Kate's place in Belize and being told, "well when you get to Jamaica there's going to be a letter there basically telling you to go home." I would think, well then what the heck am I doing there? Why can't we stay an extra few days in Belize or just go somewhere where they DO want us.... Anyway, I am feeling super grumpy today because I can't kick this social media habit that generally just brings me down--except for happy posters like Jane.

Kate looks lovely in yellow. As a Trinidadian, I am very curious about the attitude towards the Cambridges in Jamaica. Here in Trinidad, I would say many people are on Meghan's side and believe her when she said she experience racism within the royal family. Just my two cents but I don't think this was the right time to visit the Caribbean, with the Sussexes departure still fresh and also Barbados removing the Queen as head of state.
