Picture of Kate & William Skiing + Harry and Meghan's Flight from LA to London for Secret Meeting with the Queen

We have two fun little updates tonight.

The first is the promised picture of Kate skiing in the French Alps. I was hoping for some kind of confirmation that the family was indeed out on the slopes, and a few of you very generously provided that confirmation (requesting anonymity).

The woman who shared this snap said that William and Kate had not put their ski goggles on yet when they got off the lift. She was clipping her skis on next to Kate and didn’t even realize it. Her friends had to alert her to the proximity of the two royal stars. She said in this picture the couple were watching George on the slopes with his ski instructor.

I think the Cambridges probably ski every year, but as this woman noted, once they snap those goggles on, they can really fly under the radar. I have seen the occasional candid of them in years past, but I don’t get one every year, so a huge thank-you for this photo!

Little Update #2: Harry & Meghan’s First-Class Takeover

As you know, Meghan and Harry made a surprise visit to the Queen. The two are on their way to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games. One of you messaged me yesterday—before the news broke today—to tell me that the Sussexes had flown to London from Los Angeles. According to this reader, the two bought out the entire first class of the plane, bumping other passengers.

I was going to share this bit of news on Instagram, but then the news broke tonight the two had indeed stopped in for a quick visit with the Queen. Their first event in the Netherlands is tomorrow. Chris Ship of ITV shares the following data on the visit.

I have some more thoughts on the Sussexes buying the whole First Class of a transatlantic flight, but I will have to share those later. I need to head to bed, but I really wanted to get the picture of Kate to you all before I signed off for the night.
