Sounds like a smart move on your part. Can you offer a yearly subscription at a small discount? My only quibble is that the price seems a tad steep. I pay for lots of subscriptions and they generally are less expensive, especially when you consider the amount of content they offer. For example, The Atlantic is $59.99/ year for countless articles per month.
I would love this option too. Not even for the comparison of other subscriptions but it feels like less $ when I pay once and not think about it later 😂
I have no problem with $5/month. The Atlantic is a major publication with sponsors and ads. Can’t compare Jane to that really. Jane is more of a “small business owner” with her subscription and $5/month seems reasonable. I pay $5/month for The Bucketlist Family’s “friend” subscription as they too, are more of a “small business” model. Cheers!
Your point about Jane being a small business owner is well taken. Plus, she offers thoughtful analysis that, in my opinion, no one else offers, and for which I personally would happily pay $5 per month. My question is whether that will be true for many of her other readers. I should also note that while The Atlantic may be partially supported by advertising, my $59.99 annual on-line subscription comes no advertising.
Yes! I am in. Your analysis and commentary are delightful and worth every penny. I am looking forward to being a member of your newsletter community!
So excited! I have missed your thoughts on Kate and can’t wait to read them again. I think we’d be friends irl😊 and share similar perspectives.
I’m glad I am not the only that didn’t like Catherine’s birthday photos!!! Everyone else in the world seemed to love them, and I just did not.
Good luck Jane!
Sounds great! Maybe some sort of PayPal setup, so us outside US can subscribe (and pay) as well 🙂
I absolutely second that! ❤
Try Patreon!
I think that is a good idea as well definitely more popular and she can do videos, blogs and newsletters as well.
I am delighted to be a subscriber!
I’m so excited for this I subscribed w my adult email address not my subscription/created that username as a teenager email address 😉😆

Yes! I agree! I would love to just pay a lump sum all at once.
Agreed on the steepness. Yes please offer a discount, thank you!

This is the best news!! I am in! I have followed your content almost from the beginning of FBTB. 😍
Cheers to this new venture!
I’m definitely going to subscribe and I think that $5 a month is a great price!
