Loved the dress. Feminine and perfect for the occasion. I bought denim culottes pants after seeing Kate’s that she wore earlier that day. Also, remember she was so nervous to impress QEII she picked up a stick and tossed it in her purse so everything looks neat!
I loved the Erdem dress at the time and I still love these pictures. I agree with the above commenter that prairie “chic” has been way overdone by fast fashion in the intervening years and I’m rather tired of it. I personally would now avoid wearing something with a tiered skirt or large floral pattern. But Kate, with her beautiful hairstyle, fresh makeup, and accessories, looked put together and dressy rather than social media sloppy like the overdone prairie trend has now played out.
Is it me or does this event seems like just yesterday? 2019 was FOUR years ago but I miss those days and Her Majesty so much. 😔 I liked both of Kate’s ensembles! 🤍
That was the dress that the octogenarian Duchess of Kent also wore, which put me off it a bit at the time, but it was great for this event.
I also liked the trouser look, with reservations. I am tall, so ankle grazer trousers always feel like just trousers that aren’t long enough in my head, so they are never my favourites.
I loved the dress then, and still do, mainly because it was so perfect for the engagement. And what a lovely engagement that was -- a project so near and dear to her heart, and to be able to finally share it with the Queen.
I loved this too, it was perfect for the event. Not so keen on the shoes but overall she looked lovely. My favourite Eden is the multi coloured sheath (kind of!) dress she wore at the beginning of 2017. It is so dark here and bitterly cold and seeing this post cheered me up, lighter and brighter days ahead. I am loving your Monday post - thank you
I loved this dress then and still love it now—I’ve always been an Erdem fan but this was a particular favorite. She looked almost ethereal in it—perfect for the garden setting and for entertaining the Queen. And the trousers she wore earlier that day are so similar to the wide legged, high waisted look that is so fashionable today—she was ahead of the trends!
I loved the dress then and I like it now. I think for a flower show debut any floral style is appropriate and I like blues on PoW. Nicely done. However, I do think it is a little dated for today’s style.
I like this dress, I can't remember if I liked in 2019 or not. Not a fan of the wedges. Love her hair braided like that! I like those pants much better than the skinny jeans.
I love this dress and always like to see Kate in Erdem who gives a stylish twist to her wardrobe. I have a theory that Kate’s best dressed period coincided with the children attending St Thomas’ school. I think there were some very stylish mums influencing her then and sadly the Windsor mum’s aren’t having the same positive effect. Just a thought.
I really don't like tiered dresses and I don't like this one though the fabric was pretty and Kate can make all sorts of looks work! I've never liked trousers at the length she was wearing them, but again they worked for the event.
I’m not a fan of the prairie dress look while I like the trousers and blouse look.
I thought her Erdem dress was perfect for a garden setting!
She looked lovely but the dress wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t hate it. 🤷♀️

Loathe the dress and the pants then. Still dislike the dress but the pants seem more tolerable today. I like her hair with both outfits.

Loved it.
