I always thought this was one of the more glamorous and, dare I say, sexy of Kate's dresses. After all, with the off the shoulder cut and figure hugging skirt, the dress really showed off Kate's incredible shape. The shoes were also very strappy and delicate looking, sky high and a perfect complement to the dress.
I loved this outfit on Kate! Also, I love when she does events at places I've visited because it makes it so much easier to envision the event in my mind!

I loved this dress and how it looked on Kate. Maybe the last picture gives a clue to why it wasn’t repeated - she appears to be pulling it up. Maybe the fabric stretched with wear and began to pull downwards and she wasn’t comfortable with it?
She only wore that off the shoulder black floral Alexander McQueen gown once before she altered it, so maybe she’s not comfortable with off the shoulder full stop? Shame, as she looks gorgeous in the style.
I actually was not a huge fan of this look. I thought the dress didn't really look comfortable to wear and noticed Kate pulling at the shoulders. The purse had no relation to the shoes which I also found offputting. I realize that I am in the minority on this. Kate was absolutely beautiful as usual regardless.
