Always loved houndstooth and thought the design in the coat was lovely especially the collar. Paired well with the teal dress. So long ago! Also her hair looked great. I pray she is progressing in her treatment and we can see her soon. Thank you for the memory!

She has an enviable head of hair in any style, and this is a flattering haircut on her. Id love to see her try an elegant bob. I think she’d look very stylish, but it’s clear she’s happiest with her hair longer and that’s what matters most!

I miss Kate. She's been such a constant in my life since 2011 and I just miss seeing her. Rebecca English said recently on the Daily mail royal Channel that she has been spotted a few times recently so that's good news that she's well enough to be out and about. I can't believe this post was from 9 years! How quickly time passes. It doesn't feel like it's been that long since Kate married William.
I think it’s fun to see how her style changes. I love her shorter hair and fringe. It’s fun to see all her ‘off the rack’ shopping from Reiss paired with the start of all her made-to-order clothing like this dress. I think she had this dress in a few more colors. Hope she’s recovering well. Would love to see her with shorter hair again.
The dress was fine, but I loved the coat. I like houndstooth and really liked the sleek line with the funnel collar. I can see why she took the coat off rather than just unbuttoned it indoors - as you say, they were OK together, but not designed for each other.
I miss her! I hope she will completely recover her health and be back with us soon. I miss seeing her kids too. She is beautiful in the houndstooth but blue always suits her so well. 🩷

i really liked the coat - i agree with you that the coat with the dress wasn't my favorite.
I think a bright red dress would have really popped against the houndstooth coat. The teal colour looked a bit random.
