Kate's New Advisory Committee
In the run-up to her big Early Years announcement, Kate met with a new committee advising and overseeing her Early Years work.
Today at Windsor Castle, the Princess of Wales met with a new committee that has recently been formed to aid Her Royal Highness in her Early Years project. This group has been put together to provide both advice and oversight for Kate’s significant undertaking.
We still haven’t heard her big announcement, which a number of outlets reported would be revealed before the end of the month. But during the meeting at Windsor today, Kate said she was “really excited for next week,” so obviously the launch is imminent!
Kate was wearing a McQueen tuxedo blazer paired with Roland Mouret trousers and a polished bodysuit blouse from Holland & Cooper. I love her Shyla Chunky Knot pearl earrings. Pearls have always been such a staple in Kate’s jewelry box, and she never misses when it comes to pieces featuring pearls.
Last week, I was disappointed in Kate’s choice to wear a Roland Mouret suit to the rugby party at Hampton Court, but today a similar look really hit the spot in this professional setting. Kate looked every inch the modern royal lady in her stunning surroundings.
Speaking of that, Kensington Palace is, of course, beautiful and meticulously decorated, but I am absolutely loving these events at Windsor. The history and opulence of these formal rooms is hard to beat. It seems a very appropriate setting for the Princess of Wales to hold a business meeting.
