It is Wednesday morning and that means I am tooling around the royal news world deciding what to chat about in today’s missive. I guess it’s mom brain, but on Monday there was a story or some tidbit about Meghan and/or Harry, and I thought, I will write about that on Wednesday. Anyway, here I am wondering what that piece of news was. It’s funny, because I feel like so much of the Meghan and Harry news is ephemeral. A blurb crosses your feed, and if you don’t snag it, it’s gone. I think it’s because they don’t have a formal platform or a bevy of royal reporters following them, and they don’t make good use of social media.
It’s so different with the royals. William was at a regenerative farm yesterday. Obviously when he went, my X feed was full of royal reporters sharing pictures and reports on it. Then, I was presented with pictures of him in perfect country attire on my Instagram feed, and again this morning, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Stories were up to bat where yesterday’s event was still showing on their slides. In short: if you are following the royals, you can very easily keep up as the avenues of information are layered and repetitive (in a good way), ensuring their events are not lost in the hustle and bustle. But Harry and Meghan? Better grab that single Town & Country article as it slips down your X feed, because you won’t be prompted again.
Anyway, these random musings aside, I can’t remember what I had planned to discuss on Monday, but let’s chat about the news that Meghan is bringing back her podcast…
