Meghan & Harry's New Project Launch on CBS Sunday

On Sunday, I posted on Notes here on Substack that I tried to watch the Sussexes’ CBS Sunday spot only to sit through an hour of other programming and finally give up. Yesterday afternoon, I fired up my YouTube.tv and went back and watched the segment. I believe you can watch the segment here if you missed it.

The point of the interview was the launch of a new Archewell initiative: Parents’ Network—a community meant to be “a place for parents to convene, to heal, and to help prevent future loss and harm from occurring to other families around the world…” Like 40 x 40, the project launched on Meghan’s birthday, August 4th.

The first major takeaway for me was that the spot was not really that long. The couple’s airtime was cut down even further, because the segment showcased a few parents who have lost children and the group facilitator who will be carrying the project moving forward.

My mom—no fan of Meghan Markle—watched the segment and remarked that Meghan looks great. I have always said that Meghan is a beautiful woman, but when I saw the teasers for this episode, my immediate thought was, she looks different. I can’t put my finger on it, and she does look good, but she looks different. To me, she looks a little older. As I say, she still looks great! Would that I could age like Meghan, but there was something. I have seen people saying she has had work done. I am not good at spotting that sort of thing, and even hearing people say that, I am not sure what it would be, but I know my first thought was that she liked different somehow.
