Meghan and Harry Busy During Month of Royal Doldrums
We are well and truly in August. The ultimate dead month for royal activity. While King Charles and Queen Camilla have headed to the Highlands, and I assume Kate the Great is at Anmer Hall with her little ones, Meghan and Harry have been making more headlines than usual.
Meghan celebrated her 42nd birthday on August 4th. In the run up to her birthday, she was pictured enjoying a dinner date with Harry at Tre Lune in Montecito. I lot of people believe this was also an attempt to rebut the stories circulating that the couple are on the rocks. I didn’t read much more into than it was her birthday dinner date and a nice opportunity to also get in a good photo op.
Last week, the pair released a video of themselves calling winners of the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund to congratulate them (pictured above). That felt like a well-timed publicity move to to counter the rumors, in addition to being the easiest type of “charity appearance” the couple can make these days.
