Louis's Birthday Video + William and Kate's Anniversary Trip to Scotland

Today is Prince Louis’s 7th birthday! Kensington Palace released a picture of the young prince this morning on William and Kate’s social media pages. It was taken by Josh Shinner earlier this month in Norfolk. Interestingly, they just released a complementing video of Prince Louis from the photoshoot:

I love how the Waleses are incorporating video more and more into their public messaging. It’s a modern form of communication that maintains a sense of tradition and history. It also feels intimate to the viewer without actually revealing too much of their family’s personal life or space. I think it has been a wonderful development.
