Kate at the Qatari State Visit Welcome

Yesterday, the Princess of Wales joined William to welcome the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wife Sheikha Jawaher. The royal couple met their visitors at their hotel before personally escorting them to the Horse Guards to meet Charles. Queen Camilla skipped the outdoor portion of the day, explaining she is still recovering from pneumonia.

Last week, someone asked me on Instagram what my prediction was for Kate’s ensemble for this event. I am terrible at predictions, but I guessed McQueen, because McQueen has been Kate’s top-tier brand for these major occasions. The Middle East royals have an enormous amount of money and their ladies wear super high-level fashion and very expensive jewelry. High octane money and high octane fashion, I guess.
