Cambridges Start School at Lambrook School

Finally some Cambridge news! William and Kate took their three children to a “settling in” afternoon at Lambrook School today. This is an annual event the school hosts for new starters and their families to acclimate the children and parents to the school before the start of term (which is tomorrow).

We expected to get photos and video of all three royal Cambridges starting their first day of school, and William and Kate obviously took the opportunity today to get the official photos and videos out of the way. The little ones can officially start tomorrow fuss-free, just like all the other pupils.

These are, as most royal watchers know, official photos. That is, the Cambridges consented to these photos and agreed to one rota photographer, one cameraman, and one reporter. If you watch the video, you can hear that it is a very quiet and private setting—no jostling press in a packed pen. The children seemed relaxed and…confident. :)

Kate was wearing Rixo’s Izzy dress. The Duchess also has this dress in the “pink marble” colorway while on tour in the Bahamas (pictured below).

For these school photos today, Kate paired her dress with Gianvito Rossi heels and her Maria Black ChaCha pearl earrings.

Lambrook is just a 12 minute drive from Adelaide Cottage. As they settle into their new home and a new lifestyle, I am sure the Cambridges are delighted to have all three of their children at school together.

It is lovely to get these shots of the royals as Harry and Meghan are set to conclude their mini-tour tomorrow at the Well Child Awards, even as they leak further ambiguous accusations at Prince William. I have an update on all that coming tomorrow.
